“5May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:5-6)

Father, in Your Word you call us to strive for peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14), and yet often we let petty quarrels and strife steal our joy. Not only does it steal our joy, but it robs You of the glory that You are worthy of. Grant Your people to dwell in harmony and to abound in love for one another, so that with a united voice we might magnify Your great worth. Burden our hearts to make peace with those whom we have offended. Help us to forgive those who have offended us, as You have forgiven us in Christ.
