“20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21)

Father, our desire this day and every day is to honor You with every fiber of our being. But we know that apart from Your grace, we cannot even think a right thought about You. Fill us this day with Your Spirit, and work in us that which is pleasing in Your sight. We are eternally thankful for Your bountiful grace, which empowers us to say ‘no’ to ungodliness and live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2:11-12). We thank You that You alone are able to equip us with everything good for doing Your will. So help us today, to point others to the supremacy of Your Son.
