9 For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things. (Psalm 107:9)

Our hearts are restless, Lord, until they rest in You. The world has many dead-end roads in search of satisfaction, but You are the One who satisfies the longing soul and fills us with good things. Help us to seek our highest joy in You this day, Lord. Turn our hearts away from fleeting pleasures and false joys, and draw us deeper into the unsearchable riches of Your glory. Our souls are hungry and thirsty, Lord; satisfy us with Yourself, that we might rejoice and be glad in You all our days.
